Fary Djemy Francis brings a strong track record in public leadership and policy. He currently serves as Deputy of Investment at BP Batam and President Commissioner of PT Asabri (Persero) (2020–present). Previously, he served two terms as a Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR-RI), specifically on Commission V, the Budget Committee, and the Working Group on Fiscal Assumptions, Revenue, Deficit, and Budget Financing (Anggota Komisi V, Anggota Badan Anggaran DPR-RI, Anggota Panja Asumsi Dasar, Pendapatan, Devisit dan Pembiayaan RUU APBN) (2009 – 2014), and Chairman of Commission V, Chair of the Gerindra Faction of the People’s Consultative Assembly (Ketua Komisi V, Ketua Fraksi Gerindra MPR-RI) (2014 – 2019).
